Tangent Audio

The Tangent Audio Blog is an attempt to collect thoughts, links, rants and writings on various topics near and dear to me.  As the “Audio” part of the title suggests, the main focus is audio and related technologies.  Under the Tangent Audio name, I record and mix music (both my own and for other bands), and I develop and construct audio-related electronics and software projects.  I do this primarily as a hobby, though my day job does overlap quite a bit with the electronics and software end of the spectrum.

The “Tangent” part of the title is important.  As it seems all of my interests in my life are tangentially related, this blog will reflect that.  To that end, don’t be surprised to see posts about computers in general, home theater, home automation, digital photography, amateur machine shop/CNC stuff, or even amateur automobile racing topics.  Basically, whatever has captured my interest at a given time may appear here.

Over time, I hope to write articles to catch readers up to date with projects I’ve done in the past, as well as keep readers abreast with current projects.  The blog format is not ideal for archiving project information, so I will be seeking tools to better serve that task.
