Tried a little shimming of the head this morning, and I think I managed to correct the fore-aft error. Before fixing it was out 0.004 to 0.005″ over 7.5″. Now, with 0.003″ brass shim stock under the lower bolts, it is better than 0.0005″ over 7.5″.
