The ProMiCA CNC kit has arrived!  Now just the significant task of putting it all together remains…

Kit quality is quite high – part fit and finish looks good.  All of the aluminum parts are deburred and nicely media blasted.  The HDPE parts have a decent finish as well.

I do need to track down a few bits and pieces that aren’t included in the kit I purchased.  No motor mounting hardware was included since I didn’t buy motors.  Also, since I didn’t purchase the full kit with controller, there are no limit switches or mounting hardware included.  I wish I had known that, but c’est la vie.  The “flags” for optical limit switches are included as machined parts of some of the components, but I’ll have to work up my own mounting brackets for the sensors.
